The image, video, and sound handling of Posterous has led me to stop postng here. Although Posterous auto-posts to Tumblr, it doesnt look as nice. So here we go again.

Dinner at the in-laws then off to London for a few days with my parents. Little Julian gets to see all his grandma’s and grandpa’s today. Although Baha’is don’t celebrate Christmas, my parents are Christians and can’t wait to see their grandson tonight.

Well it’s been 6 days of parenthood for us and so far it’s been great. We have a very loving and supportive family, both near and far. Last night was only interrupted by 2 feedings, which is great for us. I can’t believe it’s already been one week of my 10 week paternity leave…time flies.
Today we received a bouquet of flowers from work, that was a nice gesture. Although I don’t miss work itself, I do miss all my friends at work. Working with the same people day-in and day-out creates solid friendships. You spend more time with them than you do other friends.
On a personal note, I haven’t been to the gym in over a week now, but I don’t exactly feel like I’m gaining any weight or anything. In fact, we keep forgetting to eat. All we do is change diapers, feed, and entertain the baby, haha. Life has changed, that’s for sure. We’ll be better people because of it.

Welcome baby Julian 7lb 11oz
We had planned for a home birth and were quite excited about it. Sometimes things don’t turn out as planned and here I am sitting in the hospital delivery room while my wife tries to get some rest before the Oxytocin she is now getting kicks in. All because her water broke 19 hours ago and she is GBS positive. All we hope for is a healthy baby and a healthy mom. Won’t be long now.
